Reeds for Baroque oboe
The baroque reeds are made from hand selected cane, using the best pieces of Rouché or Vic. Each piece is visually checked for colour, texture, wall thickness, surface sheen. It is then checked for gouge consistency with a micrometer and for hardness with a hardness gauge.
